So lets rev it up, again!

Yeah, so its that time of year when I say to my self that someone may be interested in what D is up to. So I figure I’d start writing again.

To keep it short this time, everything is geared towards Wasaloppet 2010 right now. Food, rest and training, that bit that is most important.

Shapewise I think I am fairly good, probably best physichaly since basketball days. Skiiwise there is still a lot of details to work on.

Last weekend I also did a skimarathon, 42 km race in Smedjebacken, Norrbärke. Finishing time was 3 h 10 min. Heading in to the race I knew what I was getting my self into. Previous week was full of long training sessions, hard training that I didn’t want to rest from overly much. Primarly because the goal is Vasaloppet, but also due to the fact that this race was only 42 km, and Vasaloppet is 90 km. In order to simulate those conditions best I could, i was on the starting line rather exausted to begin with. So all in all, raher happy with this race, got to test my drinking bottle, test filling in carbs and skiing with that glue-like taste after warm sports drink. Pleased with it to say the least. So this week should be even better.
